Catalogo Tourism4All (ENG)

Ultimo aggiornamento 22 Novembre 2021

We often hear about accessible tourism or “tourism for all” as a set of services and facilities that allow people with special needs to spend a satisfying holiday, without obstacles, in full autonomy and with dignity.

The Touris4all project, involving 13 high-profile Italian and Croatian institutions and funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Programme, aims to promote accessible tourist destinations from Friuli to Puglia, from Istria to Dalmatia, with regard to the environmental and cultural heritage of the territories concerned, encouraging the tourism seasonality and promoting social inclusion through the sharing of methodologies and good practices.

The project aims to improve the current range of tourism products and services accessible in areas famous for their natural and historical heritage: active holidays, food and wine experiences, cultural proposals, and contact with nature, sea, sun and beach.

The catalogue is the result of the activities carried out by the partners who have experimented with specific initiatives on accessible tourism and, more generally, on the inclusion of people with disabilities. These experiences have been capitalised through shared accessibility methods and approaches, which have become a tool for structuring long-term multi-territorial governance between institutions and private providers of tourism services.

The catalogue of the Italian-Croatian cross-border area contains the accessible tourist offers made by the project partners.
